ART FAIR ASIA FUKUOKA 2026

ART FAIR ASIA FUKUOKA 2026 Announcement

Goyo Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in ART FAIR ASIA FUKUOKA 2026, one of Asia’s leading art fairs, taking place at Fukuoka Convention Center from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, 2026.

This will mark Goyo Gallery’s sixth consecutive participation in the fair since our first appearance in 2021.

For this edition, we will present the work of Yuuki Kikuchi, an artist active across a diverse range of fields, best known for The 100-Day Life of a Crocodile, which became a widespread social phenomenon in Japan. Behind the humor of Kikuchi’s artistic world are themes of loneliness, anxiety beneath tenderness, and subtle emotional shifts that unexpectedly emerge from the routines of everyday life.

Tracing the sensibility that has resonated with so many people through social media and publications, the presentation will focus on Kikuchi’s drawings, creating a space where the artist’s thoughts and physical presence in the act of making become more directly apparent. Through the lines and colors inscribed on paper, as well as the act of drawing itself, we explore the roots of Kikuchi’s creative practice, which has continued to evolve across a diverse range of media.

Beyond his familiar characters and pop-inspired visual language lies Yuuki Kikuchi’s distinctive sensibility and artistic identity. In Fukuoka, marking our sixth consecutive participation in the fair, Goyo Gallery will present a lesser-known side of the artist and introduce a new perspective on the world of art that we seek to propose.
